Assistant Front Store Manager

Lead front store operations at Shoppers Drug Mart while supporting customer experience, staffing, and product flow from backroom to sales floor.
As Assistant Front Store Manager, you assist the Front Store Manager with human, physical, and financial resources. You help achieve store objectives through standards, labour productivity, hiring, and staff development. This role requires previous retail management experience and strong business judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain store standards that optimize customer experience and profitability
Coordinate labour scheduling with Work Force Management tools
Ensure adequate staffing levels across the business
Support hiring for departments excluding Pharmacy
Lead and motivate staff through Core Values
Requirements:
Previous retail management experience
Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
Effective judgment for inventory and expense control
Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
Business and financial acumen
Support Shoppers Drug Mart store performance through leadership, staffing, product flow, and disciplined operational management.
