Long Term Care Registered Nurse

Provide compassionate resident care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare’s Hamilton Home in Ontario. Part-time opportunities include 30-hour positions across all shifts.
This RPN position supports residents in accordance with professional standards of practice. The successful candidate will lead personal care staff, evaluate their work, and assist with new team member orientation. Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care to residents under practice standards
Lead personal care staff through daily work
Direct and supervise personal care staff duties
Evaluate personal care staff work
Assist with orienting new team members
Requirements:
Current provincial College of Nurses registration
Compassion in resident and team interactions
Professional conduct in the care setting
Respectful approach to residents and colleagues
Effective English reading, writing, and communication skills
Support long-term care residents through professional nursing practice, compassionate leadership, and effective communication at Extendicare’s Hamilton location.
