As Department Manager, Deli, you will coach team members and deliver customer-first service. The role combines merchandising, workforce scheduling, financial analysis, and inventory leadership. You will support sales growth, customer loyalty, health and safety, food safety, and operational excellence throughout the department.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the deli department as coach, mentor, and resource
Deliver customer experience, food safety, and merchandising excellence
Train, recognize, and manage team member performance
Review financial reports, metrics, dashboards, and department KPIs
Lead inventory counts and resolve period-end issues
Requirements:

One to three years of retail experience
Food Safe Certification
Leadership experience is an asset
Knowledge of sales targets, profitability, and merchandising plans
Proficiency with computer applications and open availability
