Emergency Veterinary Technician Etobicoke

Emergency veterinary care demands triage expertise and calm communication. Work onsite, in hospital, full time with VEG in Etobicoke, Ontario.
As an Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician, you will support doctors and teammates across minor to complex emergencies. Your work includes treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care. You will provide emotionally intelligent care while supporting pet parents through stressful moments. The position requires provincial RVT credentialing and at least one year of veterinary technician experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver veterinary care from triage through discharge
Administer medications, IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions
Perform diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
Provide anesthesia and monitoring for fragile patients
Perform CPR and support critical care plans
Requirements:
Accredited veterinary technology associate degree or higher
Registered Veterinary Technician credential in Ontario
At least one year of veterinary technician experience
Basic computer and medical records software comprehension
Availability for rotating nights, weekends, and holidays
Bring emergency triage, anesthesia, diagnostics, and compassionate communication to VEG’s onsite veterinary hospital in Etobicoke.
