Mining Terminal Inc.
First dedicated sales hire at a mining industry data company. Remote, Americas or Australian hours.
What we do
Mining Terminal is a mining industry data company. We turn filings and web sources from 40,000+ companies in and around mining into one structured dataset and build data products on it for investors, mining companies and the companies that supply them. Two founders and one business development associate, backed by Willem Middelkoop (Commodity Discovery Fund).
The founders have closed every deal so far, in weeks not months. You inherit the call notes, the demo flow and the messages that closed them.
The role
You’ll sell our SaaS products to the mining industry and the companies around it in your time zone: drillers, equipment dealers, consultants, funds. Contracts are annual, 5-15k USD, and the first conversation is a 15-minute call. You sell alongside the founders and report to Ernest, Co-Founder and COO.
Day to day:
Outbound on LinkedIn, email and phone to lists we give you, ranked by buying likelihood, and lists you build yourself
Book and run 15-minute demos, start trials with pre-defined KPIs, close annual contracts
Hand over to the founders for onboarding, then keep in touch with your accounts
What you hear on calls goes straight to the person building the product
Who we’re looking for
1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally SaaS, or in the mining industry or with a mining vendor
French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Based in Australia, Canada, South America or Europe, working Americas or Australian hours with flexibility
What you get
Base of 1.5-3k USD a month depending on location, plus 20% of every contract you close and 25% on everything above four a month, paid the month the client pays. The rest of the package we discuss on the first call.
Direct work with the founders, no layers
Option to relocate to Toronto from Q2 2027, where we’re opening an office
