VHA Personal Support Workers assist adults and children with daily living in homes, schools, retirement homes, and other settings. You will follow client preferences and care plans while helping maintain comfort, safety, and independence. This position serves diverse clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with grooming, dressing, bathing, and daily living
Plan and prepare meals for clients
Support client mobility and transfers safely
Complete light cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing
Report changes in behaviour and condition
Requirements:

PSW certification from an approved educational institution
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Availability for weekends or rotational weekends
Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle access
Willingness to travel across Durham assignments
