Provide comprehensive acute care nursing at Gimli Hospital with clinical judgment and patient-focused communication. This full-time role includes day and night shifts.
The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Registered Nurse for Acute Care at Gimli Hospital. You will deliver nursing care under established standards, policies, and procedures. The position includes clinical direction when assigned charge responsibilities, supporting Health Care Aides, Unit Clerks, RN IIs, and LPNs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and clients
Apply established nursing standards, policies, and procedures
Provide clinical direction when assigned charge responsibilities
Support Health Care Aides, Unit Clerks, RN IIs, and LPNs
Practice consistently with professional nursing obligations
Requirements:
Active or eligible practicing licensure with CRNM
Current Basic Life Support training
Demonstrated clinical nursing competence and skills
Effective decisions, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Valid Manitoba driver's license and satisfactory checks
Bring acute care nursing expertise, clinical decision-making, and collaborative practice to Registered Nurse service at Gimli Hospital.
