Edmonton, Alberta CAD 95,550
Description

CESSCO Fabrication and Engineering is hiring a full-time Metal Fabricator (Fitter) in Edmonton, Alberta, to join our fabrication shop team. Responsibilities for this position include laying out, fitting, and assembling structural steel and heavy plate components as well as fabricating beams, columns, platforms, skids, supports, and structural assemblies. The Metal Fabricator also assists with pressure vessel fabrication, including tanks, shells, heads, and nozzles while coordinatingwith supervisors, welders, and quality control team members to maintain production requirements. We are looking for individuals with experience in structural steel, tank fabrication, pressure vessel manufacturing, or all of these. Previous pressure vessel experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train qualified structural steel fitters who demonstrate strong layout, blueprint reading, and fit-up skills. A willingness to learn pressure vessel fabrication techniques and procedures is critical as is a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Additionally, we consider heavy-wall plate fabrication experience and experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials to be an asset. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week and a $46 to $49 per hour wage.
