This Logistics Planner coordinates daily shipments for dry and temperature-controlled freight across Canada and the USA. The position supports efficient fleet use through route optimization, shipment monitoring, and clear communication. You will collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to maintain delivery timelines and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate daily shipment schedules
Optimize routes for dry and temperature-controlled freight
Monitor shipment status and update internal systems
Provide timely information to drivers, staff, and customers
Analyze transportation data to improve processes and reduce costs
Requirements:
One to two years of transportation or trucking experience
Strong analytical and planning skills
Clear communication and customer service abilities
Supply chain management knowledge
Logistics software and GPS tracking proficiency is an asset
