Cleanroom Pharmacy Technician Calgary

Aseptic preparation and pharmacy technology define this full-time, permanent Cleanroom Technician position at Royal Drugs in Calgary. Work in the cleanroom supporting sterile drug admixtures.
Reporting to the Cleanroom Supervisor, Pharmacy Manager, and Pharmacists, the Cleanroom Technician prepares prescriptions according to work instructions. The position includes order entry, label verification, production staging, cleaning, packaging checks, and quality-focused production activities. Royal Drugs provides specialty pharmacy, infusion therapy, and retail pharmacy services, partnering with Ontario Medical Supply.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile drug admixtures using aseptic manipulation skills
Complete order entry and verify prescription labels
Stage production and perform syringe and final checks
Decontaminate, clean, label, and package products
Maintain training, quality procedures, and workplace safety responsibilities
Requirements:
Secondary school education and Alberta-accredited Pharmacy Diploma
Registration or eligibility with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
Maintained certification as a regulated pharmacy technician
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under short constraints
