Governance and Compliance Systems Advisor

Bring governance and compliance expertise to NAV CANADA’s BMS and QMS, with controls testing and system support based in hybrid Ottawa.
In this Business Management System Advisor position, you will help administer governed systems, support control activities, and implement documentation and system enhancements. The work includes requirements gathering, testing, performance monitoring, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. English and French are required, with a minimum of three onsite days weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in control design, testing, and supporting documentation
Gather requirements and test system updates and enhancements
Monitor metrics and trends supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with teams on content accuracy and accessibility
Track follow-up actions and support compliance issue resolution
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related technology
One year of experience in technology, quality, compliance, or systems administration
Experience with governance frameworks, controls testing, and reporting tools
Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 suite
Ability to explain requirements and develop technical documentation clearly
Support NAV CANADA’s governance, controls, reporting tools, and BMS/QMS enhancements from the Ottawa Technical Systems Centre.
