Shape leadership giving for the Canadian Cancer Society in Toronto or Ottawa, using prospect development and donor stewardship in a hybrid model. Help build Ontario’s major gifts program.
This Manager, Leadership Giving Ontario position personally manages a portfolio of 100–150 individual and foundation prospects and donors. You will contribute to raising $500,000 annually through a pipeline exceeding $1 million. The work includes cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, prospect assignment, and relationship management across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Navigate an existing portfolio of major gifts prospects
Personally conduct donor visits, solicitation calls, and stewardship
Identify and assign individual giving prospects to fundraising staff
Support senior leadership volunteers in major gift development
Collaborate with the Nationwide Leadership Giving team
Requirements:
Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors
Ability to manage a portfolio of 100–150 prospects
Ability to contribute toward $500,000 annual fundraising
Experience supporting senior staff and volunteers
Ability to monitor activity metrics against benchmarks
Bring portfolio management, major gift solicitation, and leadership giving experience to the Canadian Cancer Society’s Ontario fundraising team.
