Youth Therapist Clinical Services
Maryville Academy
Youth Therapist providing individual, group, and family therapy with crisis intervention across Maryville Academy program settings. Effective communication is essential.
This Therapist delivers clinical services to youth while consulting with treatment team staff. Responsibilities include case management, assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, discharge summaries, and outcome measurements. The position also supports individualized treatment and client advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
Document services within required weekly timelines
Provide crisis intervention when needed
Advocate for appropriate placement and services
Requirements:
Clinical services experience with children and adolescents preferred
Clinical license preferred
Ethical and professional conduct required
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to provide physical restraint to youth
