Mortgage Underwriter Complex Files
FLOW Lending Group
Analyze complex mortgage files as a full-time Mortgage Underwriter with Flow Lending Group | Lazarte Mortgages in hybrid North York, Ontario work.
This position supports underwriting across A-lenders, alternative lenders, and private capital. You will review borrower documentation, assess risk, and structure non-standard files. Experienced underwriters, motivated candidates, and producing mortgage agents can contribute while developing judgment through direct mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite and structure files across A-lenders and private capital
Review income, credit, liabilities, and property documentation
Anticipate lender questions and analyze file risk factors
Build clear lender-ready narratives for complex scenarios
Support closings with lenders, lawyers, and brokers
Requirements:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Comfort with complex or non-standard borrower profiles
Strategic judgment, structure, and clean execution
Mortgage underwriting, lending, or brokering experience is an asset
Mortgage licensing is an asset, not required
