The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Registered Nurse for the OR at Victoria General Hospital. Current perioperative nursing experience is required, with CNA Perioperative Nursing Certification preferred. The position supports patient care through clinical knowledge, prioritization, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care related to the operating room clinical area
Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
Perform independently and as part of the healthcare team
Maintain concentration with frequent interruptions
Requirements:
Graduate from an approved Registered Nursing education program
Maintain proof of registration with the CRNM
Current perioperative nursing experience required
Complete AORN Periop 101 within three months if required
Meet CPR requirements under Employer policy
Bring perioperative nursing experience, patient prioritization, and communication skills to the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority operating room team.
