Restaurant Operations Manager Toronto

Lead hands-on restaurant operations at SCHOOL in Liberty Village, Toronto, overseeing service standards, guest experience, and team performance in person.
As Restaurant Operations Manager, you will run a high-volume, full-service restaurant known for brunch and private events. You will coordinate front and back of house, manage staffing, and protect SCHOOL’s distinctive brand. The position requires profitable operations, strong communication, and hospitality leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Own daily operations, service quality, cleanliness, and guest recovery
Partner with kitchen leadership to resolve operational problems
Hire, train, coach, and develop supervisors
Manage schedules and staffing against approved labour targets
Grow private events, promotions, and menu experiences
Requirements:
Five-plus years of restaurant management experience
Experience with labour, cost of goods, P&L, and operating numbers
Ontario health, safety, liquor, and employment standards knowledge
Resy, POS, and scheduling platform experience
Current Smart Serve and valid Food Handler certification
Bring restaurant leadership, financial discipline, and hospitality expertise to SCHOOL’s Liberty Village operation and private events business.
