Pre Surgical Screening Registered Nurse

Registered Nurses with surgical experience can support Pre Surgical Screening at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. Current BCCNM registration and CPR certification are required.
Interior Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Pre Surgical Screening and Surgical Day Care team. Provide nursing care to day surgery patients independently and within an interdisciplinary team. Apply evidence based practice, clinical competence, and collaborative patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to day surgery patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care providers
Enhance quality of life for patients and families
Demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence based practice
Participate in designated committees and approved research projects
Requirements:
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Current practicing registration with BCCNM
Current CPR certification
Three years recent acute surgical experience
Maintain and advance clinical competence
Support surgical patients through skilled nursing care, collaboration, and evidence based practice with Interior Health in Vernon.
