As an SEO Account Strategist, you lead search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You set technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking explanations when clients ask what changed. Your work spans technical SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content planning. Writers and AI produce drafts while you direct priorities and make strategic decisions. This is a full-time remote role available across Canada, South Africa, or the USA.
Key Responsibilities:

Own crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and site architecture
Set technical SEO roadmaps for client accounts
Prioritize keyword targets, on-page improvements, and content
Report performance through GA4 and Search Console
Explain ranking movement during client discussions
Requirements:

Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
Experience running audits and implementing SEO fixes
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
Experience using Ahrefs or Semrush
Clear spoken English for live calls with US clients
Bring hands-on technical SEO, reporting, and strategic decision-making to Blacksmith Agency’s remote client accounts.
