Damage Claims Recovery Specialist

Manage damage claims and recoveries for Rogers in North York, using strong organization, communication, and judgment onsite. This is a temporary full-time assignment.
As a Damage Prevention Specialist, you will manage first-party and third-party claims through resolution, invoicing, collection, and payment. The 14-month assignment supports the National Damage Prevention team during a maternity leave. You will work with customers, insurers, legal representatives, vendors, and operational partners while maintaining confidential information. ServiceNow, NIKA, Oracle, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office support the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage claims from notification through resolution and recovery
Prepare notices, invoices, documentation, and supporting records
Negotiate settlements and obtain management approval when required
Monitor timelines and refer files for legal or collection action
Maintain accurate records, reports, procedures, and training materials
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in a related discipline
Experience in claims, collections, investigations, insurance, legal support, or construction
Ability to manage competing priorities, claim files, and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Bring claims administration, recovery, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills to Rogers’ Damage Prevention team in North York.
