Multifamily SEO Manager

Lead multifamily SEO remotely from Canada, South Africa, or the USA, using technical SEO and search strategy to guide client growth.
As SEO Manager, Multifamily at Blacksmith Agency, you own search for multifamily owners and property management groups. You will direct technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking explanations for clients. The role focuses exclusively on search, alongside writers, AI, and a separate paid media strategist.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture
Build keyword strategies and optimize pages
Prioritize content with writers and AI
Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
Report through GA4 and Search Console
Requirements:
Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
Clear spoken English for live calls with US clients
Multifamily or similar multi-location SEO experience strongly preferred
Bring technical SEO, content strategy, and AI search expertise to Blacksmith Agency’s multifamily client portfolio.
