Canadian Payroll Specialist Client Services
Treewalk Consulting Inc.
Administer Canadian and US payroll for multiple clients at Treewalk, using CRA compliance knowledge and accurate payroll processing expertise. Work from Vancouver within an expanding accounting firm.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with Treewalk’s accounting professionals. You will maintain salary databases, process payroll for salaried and hourly employees, and support clients across Canada and the United States. Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process accurate, timely client payrolls
Maintain payroll databases, procedures, and internal controls
Prepare T4A, T4, and year-end reporting
Reconcile government remittances and maintain account standing
Onboard clients and recommend payroll system best practices
Requirements:
At least two years of payroll experience
Knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and regulations
Experience with non-unionized salaried and hourly payroll
Experience using ADP, Ceridian, or QuickBooks Time
Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
