Registered Pharmacy Technician with Kroll expertise can support prescription accuracy and patient care at Mint Health + Drugs in Stony Plain, Alberta.
This full-time, permanent position supports Mint Health + Drugs’ pharmacist-led, people-focused service. You will process prescriptions, complete independent final checks, compound medications, and help patients use medical devices. The work also includes inventory, controlled substance records, and third-party billing.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, transcribe, and verify new and refill prescriptions
Conduct independent final checks before dispensing prepared prescriptions
Prepare non-sterile and sterile medications
Gather medication histories and administer authorized injections
Maintain inventory, records, and third-party billing
Requirements:
Complete a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Remain registered and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
Demonstrate high attention to detail
Show proficiency in Kroll
Bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills
