Hybrid Collections Officer Surrey

Use communication and negotiation skills as a Hybrid Collections Officer with Coast Capital in Surrey, British Columbia. Full-time temporary work includes weekly office attendance.
This Collections Officer supports Coast Capital’s auto and equipment finance group. You will control delinquency, minimize potential losses, assess situations, and identify higher-risk or fraud accounts. The position also supports contract restructuring, repossession recommendations, and policy improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review accounts daily and weekly to minimize delinquency
Conduct courteous, persuasive telephone collection calls
Negotiate acceptable remedies for delinquent accounts
Document calls and correspondence in collection systems
Issue notices and coordinate seizure documents
Requirements:
Two to three years of collections experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation and organizational abilities
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Finance or leasing experience considered an asset
Bring sound judgment, customer conversations, and collections expertise to Coast Capital’s hybrid Surrey finance operations.
