Deepen mortgage client relationships through thoughtful advice and technology at CIBC’s Vancouver banking centre. This full-time on-site position serves personal and small business clients.
As an Associate Financial Advisor, you’ll manage a portfolio of mortgage clients while understanding broader personal and business priorities. You’ll recommend personalized solutions, provide forward-looking financial plans, and connect clients with suitable Imperial Service or Business Banking partners. Relationship building includes outreach, networking, community activities, and helping clients use CIBC mobile banking applications. The schedule may include evenings and weekends, with work at multiple nearby banking centres.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage mortgage portfolios individually or within a team
Deepen relationships by understanding changing client needs
Develop networks with clients’ families and friends
Grow CIBC presence through banking centre events
Teach clients to manage banking through mobile applications
Requirements:

Two to three years advising clients financially
Sales results achieved through advice-based conversations
Current Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada accreditation
Current CFSA accreditation is an asset
Curiosity, accountability, teamwork, and attention to detail
Use mortgage relationship management, financial advice, and digital banking knowledge to support CIBC clients in Vancouver.
