Coordinate transportation activity as a Dispatcher in Duncan, SC, managing local drivers, OTR trailers, equipment movement, and dispatch communications. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are required.
ProTrans seeks a Regular Full-Time Dispatcher for its Duncan facility. The position manages equipment entry and exit, local deliveries, OTR trailers, paperwork, logs, and driver communication. Success requires recent LTL transportation dispatch experience, computer literacy, and Microsoft Office skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch local carrier city and yard drivers
Answer the ProTrans dispatch phone and questions
Notify personnel about delays, damage, and breakdowns
Maintain dispatch, yard move, equipment, and T card logs
Prepare reports, gate passes, and door assignments
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year recent LTL Dispatcher experience
Bilingual English and Spanish language skills
Computer literacy with Microsoft Email, Word, and Excel
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
Bring LTL dispatch experience, bilingual communication, and organized documentation skills to ProTrans transportation operations in Duncan.
