Teach health technology at York University, using medical devices and digital health activities to engage teenagers in person. Circuit Stream provides the curriculum.
As a HealthTech Innovation Instructor, you will introduce students ages 13-17 to technologies reshaping modern medicine. Guide learners through health data, wearable sensors, imaging systems, and basic health dashboards. Make medical and technical concepts approachable while helping students meet course objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Circuit Stream’s provided HealthTech Innovation curriculum
Guide hands-on health technology and data activities
Explain medical concepts in age-appropriate ways
Facilitate inclusive classrooms and reinforce safety expectations
Supervise activities and communicate student support needs
Requirements:
Enjoy working actively with teenagers ages 13-17
Experience in healthcare, biomedical engineering, or digital health
Completed or in-progress related degree, or equivalent experience
Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills
Teaching, mentoring, camp, or youth-program experience preferred
Bring health technology knowledge, clear communication, and active facilitation to Circuit Stream’s summer learning experience.
