Retail Merchandising Manager Winnipeg

Lead retail merchandising execution at Michaels Garden City, Winnipeg, using inventory management and workload planning to keep operations customer-ready.
The Merchandise Manager supports store leadership while directing daily merchandising and operational execution. This role covers truck processing, SISO routines, planogram sets, visual standards, pricing, promotions, inventory control, and Ship from Store fulfillment. You will also provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintain service standards, and develop team members through onboarding and skill-building.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead timely truck unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow
Plan workloads and prioritize daily store tasks
Execute planograms, ad sets, and price changes
Maintain visual standards and customer-ready store conditions
Oversee fulfillment, receiving, returns, damages, and inventory accuracy
Requirements:
Three or more years of retail leadership experience
Ability to stand and move throughout the store
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 25–50 pounds
Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Ability to climb ladders and perform repetitive motions
