Inspect property damage with Xactware as a Claims Appraiser at Wawanesa, working hybrid with daily travel from an eligible Canadian location. Evaluate losses accurately while supporting consistent claims service for customers, contractors, and adjusters.
The Claims Appraiser inspects homeowner, farm, and commercial losses for physical damage and market value calculations. This existing role requires property field adjusting or building restoration estimating experience. You will prepare estimates, communicate with stakeholders, maintain claims records, and provide property damage expertise when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and evaluate homeowner, farm, and commercial property losses
Write physical damage estimates using Xactware Estimating Software
Communicate with insureds, contractors, and adjusters
Estimate salvage values and resolve estimate-related issues
Manage inspections, re-inspections, records, and catastrophe response support
Requirements:
Three-plus years of property field adjusting experience
Or two-plus years as a building restoration estimator
Strong knowledge of Xactware Estimating Software
Effective oral and written communication with negotiation skills
Valid driver license, clean record, and required physical mobility
