Class 1 Straight Truck Driver

Operate straight or articulated trucks while applying customer service skills and maintaining vehicle safety through required inspections.
This truck driver position requires secondary school graduation, a Class 1 or A driver's licence, and an Air Brake endorsement. Drivers transport goods and materials, load and unload cargo, record trip information, and oversee vehicle condition. The work may involve two-person teams or convoys, international routes, hazardous products, and dangerous goods.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive straight or articulated trucks transporting goods and materials
Load and unload goods while overseeing cargo safety
Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
Record cargo, hours, distance, and fuel consumption
Address customer concerns and process goods payments
Requirements:

Secondary school graduation certificate
Class 1 or A driver's licence
Air Brake endorsement
Bondable with required background and driving checks
Ability to complete a drug test
Use truck operation, inspection, documentation, and customer service skills to transport goods safely and maintain vehicle readiness.
