Health Link Telephone Triage Nurse
Primary Care Alberta
Provide telephone triage across Alberta as a Registered Nurse with strong communication and advanced assessment skills. Work regular part time at Health Link Teletriage.
This Registered Nurse role supports patients, families, communities, and populations through safe, patient-centered care. You will evaluate concerns, provide health advice, and guide callers toward appropriate care. Clinical software, databases, and protocols support decisions across diverse health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide telephone triage services to callers across Alberta
Evaluate, triage, and counsel patients with diverse concerns
Deliver precise health advice and information
Apply nursing processes, critical thinking, and problem solving
Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
Requirements:
Accredited nursing education program completion
Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Three to five years recent Registered Nurse experience
Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
Use communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills to support Albertans through Health Link telephone triage services.
