As a licensed Red Seal Industrial Electrician, you will maintain electrical systems and machinery across mill and plant operations. The work emphasizes predictive maintenance, technical drawings, electrical regulations, computerized maintenance management systems, and safety. Rotating shifts or day schedules may apply, with a defined camp rotation.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems
Inspect equipment for hazards, defects, and required repairs
Coordinate planned and forced outage activities
Document completed work, reports, drawings, and prints
Requirements:

Licensed Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification
Five or more years of heavy industrial trades experience
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical manuals
Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and hazards
Ability to climb ladders and meet physical requirements
Bring Red Seal certification, industrial maintenance experience, and safety knowledge to Island Gold District electrical operations.
