Métis Early Childhood Services Manager
Métis Family Services
Lead Métis early childhood programming in Prince George, BC, using cultural curriculum and managerial oversight to support children and families on-site.
As Senior Manager, you will guide childcare and prevention programs, staff, and culturally safe services. The work includes early development, kindergarten readiness, family strengthening, and collaboration with Elders and Knowledge Keepers. You will also oversee integrated prevention case management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise childcare managers, staff, and culturally safe daily programming
Develop cultural curriculum using Métis teaching models and resources
Provide clinical supervision for Family Prevention Program services
Oversee referrals, intake, discharge planning, and case follow-up
Prepare reports, statistics, budgets, and quality assurance recommendations
Requirements:
ECE Diploma with Infant Toddler and Special Needs Certification
Current BC ECE license and three years ECE experience
One year childcare supervision and two years social services supervision
Social services diploma or degree, including related human services education
First Aid, Infant CPR, Food Safe, and Class 5 license
