Cloud Data Architecture Consultant

Lead complex data discussions for Databricks customers in Western Canada, combining cloud architecture, SQL, and customer-facing consulting.
As a Solutions Architect reporting to the Field Engineering Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor during customer engagements. You will address big data architectures, data engineering pipelines, data science, and machine learning projects. You will also validate integrations and communicate Databricks platform value across sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage technical leads throughout the sales lifecycle
Capture technical wins for strategic customer projects
Design scalable architectures using Databricks technology
Manage delivery of production data solutions
Share open-source expertise through industry events
Requirements:
Seven-plus years of customer-facing technical experience
Expertise in at least one listed data technology area
Ability to secure stakeholder buy-in across business levels
Programming experience with Python, Scala, Java, or R
Up to 30 percent regional customer travel
Support Databricks customer growth through cloud data architecture, technical presentations, and trusted advisory across Western Canada.
