Shape tooling technology and technical plans as a recognized nuclear Subject Matter Expert with AtkinsRéalis in Canada. Work independently while mentoring specialized staff.
At this specialist engineering level, you will direct tooling design, testing, and deployment across large-scale nuclear refurbishments or maintenance services. The work calls for independent decision-making, multidisciplinary problem solving, strong communication, and relationships with customers through consulting and business skills. You will also contribute to technology business growth and advanced trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceive tooling programs and long-range technical plans
Establish objectives and priorities for technical development
Contribute to technology business line growth and trends
Provide input on specialized staff recruitment and training
Coach team members and support staff development
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of relevant progressive nuclear experience
Recognized Candu and nuclear industry tooling Subject Matter Expert
Specialized understanding of Tooling System technology
Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Experience with import/export-controlled project execution
Bring tooling design authority, nuclear refurbishment experience, and mentoring capability to AtkinsRéalis’ specialized engineering work.
