Senior Strategy and Corporate Affairs Officer

Lead enterprise strategy, government relations, and corporate affairs for Saskatchewan Blue Cross in a hybrid executive role based in Saskatoon or Regina.
The Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy and Corporate Affairs Officer serves on the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the President and CEO, this executive leads corporate development, product and innovation, strategic partnerships, brand, marketing, external communications, and corporate social responsibility. The position translates priorities into initiatives supporting sustainability and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate enterprise strategy development and execution
Lead strategic planning, market intelligence, and performance monitoring
Evaluate ventures, investments, acquisitions, and strategic alliances
Develop government relations and external stakeholder relationships
Lead product, innovation, brand, and community investment functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and leadership experience
Eight-plus years of related experience
Three to five years of strategic leadership accountability
Insurance industry knowledge and strategic planning expertise
Strong communication, diplomacy, analytical, and influencing skills
Bring executive strategy, external relations, innovation, and communication leadership to Saskatchewan Blue Cross’s future direction and market relevance.
