Global Transaction Tax Director
Alvarez & Marsal
Lead global transaction tax advisory through due diligence, tax planning, and financial model review at Alvarez & Marsal. Apply sophisticated tax judgment to complex client situations.
As Director, Global Transaction Tax, you will advise corporate and private equity buyers and sellers throughout the transaction life cycle. You will evaluate tax risks and opportunities, review purchase agreements, and coordinate integrated work with indirect, international tax, financial, and operational diligence professionals. The team serves industries including healthcare, financial institutions, energy, environmental services, technology, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply complex tax concepts to client situations
Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches
Perform diligence on returns, financials, and tax documentation
Review tax aspects of models and purchase agreements
Develop and maintain client relationships
Requirements:
CPA, JD, Masters in Taxation, or LLM
At least seven years of relevant mergers and acquisitions tax experience
Experience at Big Four, Big Law, or similar firm
Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
Strong writing, analytical, research, Excel, and organizational skills
Bring transaction tax expertise, client advisory judgment, and integrated diligence leadership to Alvarez & Marsal’s global tax practice.
