Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, fill, finish, and decorate cakes and pastries
Create special-order designs based on customer preferences
Prioritize production lists and adjust output as needed
Merchandise displays and monitor freshness and product rotation
Provide customer service and apprentice guidance
Requirements:

Intermediate piping, decorative flowers, and border techniques
Knowledge of buttercream color theory and complementary palettes
Ability to use varied icings and follow recipes
Six to twelve months retail or restaurant experience
Bakery Decorator Apprentice training or equivalent experience
Bring cake decorating, pastry finishing, production planning, and customer service skills to Whole Foods Market bakery operations.
