Overnight Virtual Veterinary Technician

Support pets overnight as a Virtual Registered Veterinary Technician using triage expertise, client communication, and remote care across Ontario or British Columbia.
Juno Veterinary seeks an RVT for a three-month contract supporting veterinarians, clinic teams, members, and their animals. Apply technical skills in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, laboratory testing, nursing care, and client education. Communicate through chat and phone while determining appropriate care pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage members through text-based chat and phone
Review medical records before and during interactions
Triage patients and recommend appropriate next steps
Document communications using veterinary terminology
Submit prescription refill requests and coordinate continuous care
Requirements:
Valid RVT or LVT license in Ontario or British Columbia
Two or more years of RVT experience with triage
Exceptional communication and member education skills
Ability to multitask across communication platforms
Availability for overnight Wednesday through Saturday rotation
