Coordinate student services programs at the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto, using advising and communication skills to support student engagement.
As a full-time Student Services Coordinator, you will implement and oversee student life programs within the Student Life department. The role includes advising student groups, coordinating departmental communications, mentoring student employees, and supporting Orientation, Convocation, and engagement events. You will also create training and manage conflicts.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee University of Guelph-Humber student life programs
Advise student groups and support their activities
Oversee weekly eNews, social media, and daily promotions
Plan and execute Orientation, Convocation, and engagement events
Mentor student employees and manage workplace conflicts
Requirements:
Degree in education, student affairs, student development, or related field
Minimum three years’ student services or student affairs experience
Direct experience advising and training university students
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Organizational, event planning, MS Office, and multitasking skills
Bring student advising, program coordination, and communication expertise to Student Life at the University of Guelph-Humber.
