Support clients in Downtown East as a Personal Support Worker, providing personal care, mobility assistance, and emotional support in their homes.
VHA Home HealthCare seeks a full-time Personal Support Worker serving diverse clients, including adults and children. You will help maintain daily living activities while encouraging independence and following client preferences. Care is delivered within service plans, confidentiality standards, and VHA policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide grooming, dressing, and bathing assistance
Plan and prepare meals for clients
Assist with mobility and transfers
Complete light household duties, including laundry
Report changes in client behaviour and condition
Requirements:

Hold approved Personal Support Worker certification
Read, write, and speak English at grade 10 level
Work weekends or rotational weekends
Travel between assignments within designated areas
Demonstrate client and family-centered care
Bring compassionate personal care, sound judgement, and independent support to VHA clients across Toronto East communities.
