Nephrology Registered Practical Nurse Church

Support kidney care at Humber River Health’s Church campus using patient assessment, education, and hemodialysis nursing skills.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will work within the Haemodialysis, Nephrology Program at Church. The temporary part-time position includes comprehensive care, patient follow-up, quality assurance participation, and possible Transition Care Unit coverage. Your work supports integrated kidney care and patient involvement in treatment.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to hemodialysis patients
Maintain a primary nursing focus within the program
Provide patient education and follow-up
Participate in quality assurance activities
Support Transition Care Unit coverage as scheduled
Requirements:

Registered Practical Nursing two-year diploma
Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Acute care experience of one to two years
Sound judgment, observation, and patient assessment skills
Bring practical nursing experience, patient education, and clinical judgment to Humber River Health’s nephrology team.
