Support young children at the E.C. Drury YMCA Child Care Centre in Milton using child-centred programming and compassionate care. This regular full-time position runs year round.
The YMCA of Greater Toronto seeks a Registered Early Childhood Educator for its Milton EC Drury YMCA location. You will plan and deliver programs using YMCA Playing to Learn and Place to Connect curricula. The work includes family relationships, learning documentation, safety supervision, routines, and children’s daily care.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver consistent child-centred programs
Provide compassionate care and support to children and families
Build relationships and update parents on children’s progress
Document children’s development and interactions
Maintain safe, clean, and sanitary child care spaces
Requirements:
Early Childhood Educator Diploma
Registration or registration-in-process with the College of Early Childhood Educators
At least six months’ experience working with children
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 20 kilograms
Bring early learning, child supervision, family communication, and safety skills to the YMCA’s Milton child care team.
