Squamish Lifeguard Swimming Instructor

Protect swimmers and teach lessons as a Lifeguard 2 or 3 with the District of Squamish. Regular full-time and part-time schedules are available.
This aquatics role suits candidates who monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies. You will use rescue and first aid skills while leading swimming lessons for all age groups. The position also supports staff and swimmers while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules
Respond swiftly to emergencies using rescue and first aid skills
Lead swimming lessons for participants of all age groups
Support staff and swimmers with safety and performance

Requirements:

Lifeguard 2 or Lifeguard 3 classification
Rescue and first aid skills
Ability to monitor activities and enforce safety rules
Ability to lead swimming lessons for all age groups
Commitment to respect, integrity, connection, and progress
Bring water safety, emergency response, and swimming instruction skills to aquatics services in the District of Squamish.
