Transfer Specialist Chicoutimi

Support sensitive deceased transfers in Chicoutimi with safe driving, careful documentation, and courteous communication with families and professional partners.
The Transfer Specialist handles removal and transportation while following company procedures and applicable local and provincial laws. You will manage chain-of-custody steps, deceased identification, proprietary software entries, and vehicle readiness. The position requires coordination with first responders, coroners, hospitals, and senior living facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform first-call transfers using company-owned professional vehicles
Follow chain-of-custody, paperwork, and identification procedures
Interact sensitively with bereaved families during home transfers
Transport caskets and assist with moving them
Maintain clean, fueled, and presentable company vehicles
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Quebec driver's license and acceptable driving record
At least one year of courier or driving experience
Basic computer skills and direct customer interaction preferred
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull 200
