Forestry Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy equipment for Wright Tree Service of Canada while supporting forestry operations, remote work, and required travel. Chainsaw experience is required.
This full-time, non-exempt Heavy Equipment Operator reports to the General Foreperson. You will prepare sites, support landscaping assignments, and maintain equipment and supplies. The work requires safe equipment handling, inspections, maintenance, loading, unloading, and accurate daily paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate various equipment for site preparation and landscaping assignments
Load and unload equipment from trailers safely
Inspect equipment routinely and perform general maintenance
Maintain equipment and supplies with proper care
Promote workplace safety and environmental practice improvements
Requirements:
Forestry operations and chainsaw experience required
Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement
Clean driving record and heavy truck driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb
Willingness to travel, work remotely, and occasionally work Saturdays
Bring dependable equipment operation, chainsaw experience, and safety awareness to Wright Tree Service of Canada forestry assignments.
