Healthcare Housekeeping Aide Arborg
Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority
Support clean, safe healthcare spaces as a Housekeeping Aide in Arborg, using institutional cleaning experience and courteous service. Days, evenings, and weekends are anticipated shifts.
At the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority’s Arborg and District Health Centre, the Housekeeping Aide works within the Housekeeping department. Reporting to the Manager, Support Services and/or Lead Hand, this non-clinical position follows schedules, policies, procedures, and safe work procedures. The work supports patients, residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain safe, clean, aesthetically pleasing healthcare environments
Perform assigned housekeeping duties according to established schedules
Follow policies, procedures, and safe work procedures
Provide courteous service to patients, families, visitors, and staff
Support the Authority’s Mission, Vision, and Values
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 10 education
Experience in healthcare or institutional cleaning
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Effective oral and written English communication
Ability to perform mental and physical duties
