Lead FedEx Express sort operations while coaching Cargo Handlers and supporting the Safety Above All culture in a frontline supervisor position.
The Operations Supervisor manages day-to-day station sorting and assigned Cargo Handler staff. Responsibilities include package handling, routing, service-failure recovery, employee mentoring, coaching, training, and administrative compliance. The updated requirement includes one year of FedEx sort operations or senior-level hourly experience, or related supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily sort operations within the station
Guide proper package handling, routing, and recovery
Oversee Cargo Handler functions and work activities
Mentor, coach, and train assigned employees
Maintain compliance with policies and regulations
Requirements:
College degree
One year of FedEx sort operations experience
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to lift 70 pounds and maneuver heavier packages
Ability to complete training and maintain DG certification
