Pediatric Complex Care Nurse

Pediatric complex care nursing at Hope’s Home combines health assessments, medication administration, and hands-on support for children with complex medical needs.
This Nurse works in an Early Learning Center, providing direct care while supporting each child’s health, wellbeing, independence, and inclusion. Duties include care planning, gastric tube feeds, wound care, tracheotomy care, ventilator equipment, family communication, and collaboration with healthcare teams. The position reports to the Manager of the Early Learning Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care within valid licensing scope
Develop and manage individualized nursing care plans
Administer medications and provide gastric tube feeds
Monitor tracheotomy care, oxygen saturation, and ventilator equipment
Communicate regularly with families and healthcare teams
Requirements:
Practicing license in good standing with SALPN, SRNA, or RPNA
Current First Aid and CPR Level BLS
Minimum two years of pediatric experience preferred
Ventilator experience is an asset
Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
