General Ledger Accountant

Apply general ledger expertise at Aramark, reconciling accounts and resolving accounting issues while supporting quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
The Accountant oversees accounting functions for individual operations, or components, and maintains accurate financial records. Responsibilities include reviewing departmental general ledger accounts, identifying accounts receivable and contract accounting issues, and supporting close activities. You will also communicate results with operations and senior financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Review complex quarterly and year-end general ledger accounts
Aggregate component-level reconciliations for reporting
Resolve accounts receivable and contract accounting issues
Monitor key financial indicators for components
Participate in annual Sarbanes-Oxley control testing
Requirements:
Two to five years’ accounting experience preferred
Experience in a contract-intensive environment ideally
Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills
High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Bring general ledger, technical accounting, and analytical capabilities to support accurate financial controls and reporting at Aramark.
