Local Short Haul Class 1 Driver

Handle local and short-haul transportation with tractor-trailer expertise, detailed inspections, and accurate driver documentation. Work locations may vary.
As a Class 1 Truck Driver, you will travel frequently or constantly between various work locations. The position involves operating manual transmission vehicles, adjusting routes, and relaying information to central dispatch. You will also maintain records, address customer concerns, and oversee vehicle and cargo conditions. English and required credentials are specified.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tractor-trailer equipment on local and short-haul routes
Adjust routes to changing conditions and minimize fuel consumption
Inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and equipment
Address customer complaints and concerns professionally
Complete bills of lading, logbooks, and trip reports
Requirements:
English language ability
Secondary school graduation certificate
Two to less than three years of experience
Valid Class 1 or A driver's licence
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Bring route planning, professional customer service, equipment inspection, and documentation skills to local and short-haul trucking.
